This is a good project but if you suck at soldering fiddly pieces (like me) or are too lazy (like me) then ebay is the way to go. Just buy a usb endoscope off ebay, you can get one with a couple of meters of cable for under $20 or I just bought one for $30 that has 10m of cable and attach it to a PC/laptop/netbook. If you want one with its own screen then you'll be? looking at a lot more money but maybe kipkay can come up with a project for that

Why wouldn't you just put the camera in the bag? You'd sacrifice some manoeuvrability but gain much more in terms of it being less obvious. Plus it would be more stable in the side of a bag than bouncing around in floppy cloth.? Finally you wouldn't have a cord running from your clothes to the bag, which would be a bit of a giveaway.

Listen, once the camera is on, look at the indicator LED lights, ALL blue indicates its standing by waiting for you to hit the record button on the top, and you can record as? long as you have the space on your SD card or battery life. They are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN red list. :( It doesn't mean they are considered endangered yet but they are declining rapidly so there? is great concern. Also, misinformation doesn't always mean wrong, but sometimes misleading, ie. it doesn't tell the whole story.
